Manual Handling Awareness |
4 Hours | Introduce delegates to the hazards of poor lifting technique and skills necessary to lift correctly. |
Manual Handling Assessment |
1 Day | For people who are required to assess manual handling tasks. Includes legislation, hazards, assessment and controls. |
COSHH Assessment |
1 Day | Delegates who need to appreciate the requirements of the COSHH legislation and how to undertake a COSHH assessment. |
Office Safety / Display Screen Equipment Assessment |
1 Day | To provide delegates with the practical knowledge and skills to carry out risk assessments on DSE equipment and simple ergonomics in office design and office safety. |
Noise Risk Assessment |
1 Day | Delegates will gain the practical knowledge and skills to understand the hazards associated with noise and understand the principles needed to carryout noise assessments in the workplace. |
Hand Arm Vibration Assessment |
2 Day | Delegates will gain the practical knowledge and skills to understand the hazards and risks associated with vibration and techniques to carryout vibration assessments. |
Safety Representative Training |
2 Day | A course for both unionised and non-unionised Safety Representatives to introduce them to the role of the Safety Representative and increase their knowledge of health & safety legislation and standards. |
PUWER / LOLER |
4 Hours | An introduction to the requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations and the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations. |
Working at Height |
4 Hours | Delegates will recognise the dangers associated with working at height and the controls needed to eliminate or minimise the risk. |
Selection and Use of PPE |
4 Hours | This course will provide delegates with the practical knowledge and skills to identify the selection, use, storage and maintenance of PPE. |
Permit-to-Work |
1 Day | To provide delegates with the practical knowledge and skills to operate and issue permits to work. Includes hotwork, confined spaces and working at height controls. |
Accident Prevention, Investigation & Reporting |
1 Day | Describes how to plan and undertake and accident investigation, analyse accident statistics, prevention methods and reporting accidents to the HSE under RIDDOR. |
