For persons who require a competence certificate for entry into confined spaces. Covers legislation, hazards, precautions and use of equipment, and includes a practical exercise.Can be offered on a 1 day extended version. |
Entry into Confined Space Refresher |
1 Day | For persons who have previously attended the 2 day course within the last 3 years. Refreshes delegates on items they have covered in the previous course. |
Managing Confined Space Safety |
1 Day | For persons who need to understand about the hazards of confined spaces and who may be issuing Permit-to-Work for confined space entry.Covers legislation, hazards, precautions, selection of equipment, and permits. |
Simple Traverse |
3 Days | For persons who require a competence certificate for entry and traversing a confined certificate. Covers legislation, hazards, precautions and use of equipment related to entry and traversing of confined spaces. The course includes 2 practical exercises. |
Gas Freeing Confined Spaces |
1 Day | For people with responsibility for gas freeing of Confined Spaces. Covers atmospheric hazards, operation of gas detector. |
Emergency Response Team Training |
2 Days (minimum) | For personnel who as part of their duties provide emergency support to persons who enter confined spaces. Covers emergency planning, search and rescue techniques, and team equipment. |
Use of Self Contained or Airline Breathing Apparatus |
1 Day | For personnel who require a competence certificate for the use of self-contained BA or airline BA. Includes user pre-use checks, donning procedures, storage, etc. |
Confined Space Regulations 1997 An Awareness |
4 Hours | For all personnel who require an understanding of the regulations. Includes details of the regulations, confined space hazards and controls. |
