Confined Space Training Courses
The Confined Space Regulations 1997 requires that anyone who enters and/or works in a confined space must be trained and competent. Phoenix Safety run training courses in Confined spaces including a training courses on entry into confined spaces in its own right, a course on entry and working in confined spaces, and finally a training course on entry, working in and traversing confined spaces.
Overview
These confined space training courses are highly practical courses and provide delegates with the practical knowledge and skills to carry out safe entry into a confined space and to deal with reasonably foreseeable risks of working in them.
The Structure and content of these courses are available to be viewed by clicking here. With the courses being practically based, we assess entry and traversing skills where appropriate and also correct use of safety equipment where required.
On completion of the Confined space training courses, a Phoenix Safety certificate of attendance will be awarded to successful delegates.
On average 15 confined space workers are killed in a confined space each year. In most cases poor planning, preparation and competence have caused the death. Don’t let this be one of your workers!
Our confined space training courses vary in length between one and three days, and we also offer intense courses and refresher courses too.
